Apple Pay: Finding the Correct Last 4 Digits for Your Purchase

When you use Apple Pay, the last four digits of your purchase may appear differently from the ones printed on your physical card or on your billing statement. This happens because Apple Pay creates a unique number just for your device. Follow these steps to find the correct digits to share with our support team.

Step 1: Open Apple Wallet

Go to your Apple Wallet and tap on the Apple Cash card. Then, tap the three dots (…) in the upper-right corner.

Step 2: Tap “Card Number”

In the menu that appears, select Card Number.

Step 3: View Current Apple Pay Card Number

Here, you’ll see the last 4 digits of your current Apple Pay Device Account Number.

Step 4: Check “Additional Card Numbers”

Apple Pay can update your Device Account Number over time. To see older numbers that might have been used in previous transactions, tap Additional Card Numbers.

Step 5: Provide the Last 4 Digits to IQ Institute Support

Use the last 4 digits of the Device Account Number (shown in Apple Wallet) when contacting IQ Institute Support. If you're unsure, provide all the last 4 digits you see following the steps above.

This helps us confirm ownership of your account, ensure we cancel the correct subscription, and prevent further billing.

Important Note

If you used your credit or debit card stored in Apple Wallet (instead of Apple Cash), follow the same steps above — but make sure to first tap on the specific card you used (e.g., your Wells Fargo Debit or other bank card) instead of the Apple Cash card. You’ll then see the correct Device Account Number for that card. See screenshots for reference below:
